House of Pies has been in the same location in the Los Feliz Village for almost 40 years. While well-known and as familiar as an old friend in the community, their brand and facility has become dated and worn. The new owner was intrigued by 50's coffee shop architecture and we convinced him that his current building had great "googie" bones that could be rescued and brought into full retro-flower. These renderings are a result of extensive research into the Googie style and the overall brand impression is meant to be fresh and strangely familiar at the same time.
